Ariel began dancing at the age of six. She started in ballet & tap classes in Carlsbad, but as she got older she added jazz & other styles. Ariel began teaching at the age of 14yrs old in her tap teacher’s private studio. She started with 3 students & by the end of high school she had over 50 students! Ariel owned and operated Ariel’s Dance Studio for 28 years in Vista & Oceanside, but sadly had to close the studio in 2020. Ariel’s passion for teaching has only increased over the years, especially now teaching for other studios like Stage Door. Ariel knows her passion & what she is meant to do in this life & that is teach DANCE to children & adults! Ariel was diagnosed 3 years ago with MS. She continues to adapt & modify her life to fight against this horrible disease. She not only teaches dance but works out, does yoga, swims in the ocean, & does whatever she can to keep MS at bay. Ariel is also a single mom to 3 amazing kids, 2 married & one in high school.
